its a Dennis F108 with Dennis bodywork , and a merryweather metal escape ladder, built around 1969 and stationed at Port Glasgow fire station which was until 1975 part of the Western Area Fire Brigade now a part of the massive Strathclyde Fire And Rescue Service one of the largest fire services in Europe , hope this is of help , Alan

The monitor on the escape ladder seems a rather unusual addition. The other oddity is the apparent abscence of first aid hose reels. Was this built without a water tank?

If you look at the other picture 1469 it could be a single hose reel located in the offside locker above the wheel arch. It also explains the monitor was not fitted while in service, but during preservation.

I Think the Blue light's on the grass were for sale I think to help with the funding for the fuel or the Purchase of other equipment to be located on this Machine

The hose reels is in the offside rear top locker & the monitor was for show, a group of us spent a good summer bring this fantastic machine back to its former glory back in 2004

Pav.....I imagine the beacons will have been purchased at one of the many stalls selling used fire equipment at the show.

the blue beacons are battery powered and are normally on a table where they sell fire brigade charity toys etc , the monitor was not unusal for western areas pump ladders at that time and the first aid hosereel is on the other side from the side mounted pump , it only having one , hope these answer all questions
