Birsfelden Mercedes dry chemical pumper tanker

This appliance of 1992 is the main appliance of the voluntary Fire Brigade of Birsfelden (Switzerland). It bases on a Mercedes-Benz SK 1530 AF/36 4x4 and has a bodywork of the Swiss factory Vogt AG. The truck carries 1800 ltr water, 330 ltr AFFF-Foam and 750 dry powder as well as 6 breathing apparatus and hoses in 3 different dimensions (40/55 and 75 mm diameter). This so-called universal pumper tanker is equipped with a Teklite-mast at its back with 2x 500 W and has a monitor on the roof of the bodywork which allows fighting fires in nearby oiltank storage sites from a safe distance. The monitor has a output of up to 3000 ltr/min.
