Fire Engines Photos

This photo shows what I believe is the 1979 Dennis D/Dennis WrT which was No5 in the fleet.I can't though see the Channel Islands registration which should be on the front bumper and should read-J 6673.
I believe that between 1972 and 1979 the brigade operated six Dennis'D'Series appliances,one being a pump escape,three later actually went into preservation.Also lets not forget the 1982 Dennis'D'that was a PET(pump/rescue tender.This was fleet No20 and had the reg-J 25020.

Pete Matten is confusing two different islands.
This photo shows a GUERNSEY Dennis D WrL,delivered
in 1974. It carries no registration number, as Guernsey fire appliances are exempt from registration. Guernsey also used a second Dennis D WrL, which was delivered in 1982.
J6673 and J25020 were from JERSEY, which is a different island. Jersey used a total of seven Dennis Ds, including a pump escape, five WrLs and
a rescue tender.
