Would I be right in saying this is an ex-LFB appliance?

To be honest, i think it looks more like an ex Hampshire machine by it's lights and bodywork.

I have sold 18 ex UK fire engines to Argentina in the last 3 years. Sales have included Dennis Rapiers and Sabres, Volvos, Scania and even a couple of Simon and Bronto ALP's. Some are changed to left hand drive in Poland and others are changed in Argentina. They normally keep the UK registration plates and badges and are proud of the fact they are from the UK.

They are equipped when placed into service with several short lengths of 70mm hose with the instantaneous coupling on one end and the local Stortz on the other. Very simple!

Year 2016 saw 6 ex UK appliances head for Argentina. Four of them were Mercedes and two Volvos. One LFB Volvo is now in Syria being used by the White Hats (civil defence volunteers).
