Engine 144 (Mack CF Pumper)

This 1983 Mack CF Pumper, operated by the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Delaware), is in pristine operating condition. It boasts a 1500gpm Hale 2-stage pump, seating for 6, 2000 ft of 5-inch supply line, and both 2" and inch and 3/4 attack line. At one time the Mack CF was the most popular firefighting chassis in the country and one of the first that allowed all firefighters to ride inside the apparatus cab.

Nice picture Lou, one of the classic Macks from the 1980's.This and the American La France(Century Series)from the same period were real classics.The New York City Fire Dept used both the Mack CF, and the ALF'Century'throughout the 1980's like so many other fire departments across the United States.Thanks.

14-4 carries 1 3/4 attack lines along with 2 inch lines. And carries only 1500 feet of 4 inch hose.
