Hi Pavel, thanks for the comments. I am very lucky there are a few fire engine rallies close to where i live in the UK. There has been a growing interest in fire appliances over the last 20 years or so.

hi there, the MOD had this type of machine, the one I remember belonged to MOD Bishopton (near Greenock).

Fordson Thames fire engines were pretty rare in the UK, although a few were also exported to former British colonies. Ford only started to make a dent in the fire engine business after the D series was introduced in 1966.
