I think I remember this machine on the run when I visited Huntly in the mid 80's. They had a merryweather too, a Rolls Royce petrol engine? I don't recall it being in this livery though. Was shown around by the sub officer who recalled that he'd rolled it at some time into a ditch.

I remember Dennis appliances which looked a lot like this one running around in Edinburgh.

I thought at the time that this grey and unpainted bodywork combination made them almost invisible in that essentially monochromatic grey city, and they would have been better off with red, yellow or even possibly white painted units.
