1984 Mack 1000/500. One of the last completely MACK made new pumpers. This truck was a demo and the City of Douglasville, Georgia purchased it in it's demo colors.

Neat paint job! Such a pity Mack stopped building custom fire trucks. They really were some of the most rugged, reliable and long-lasting trucks ever to be used by fire services anywhere....

Some of these CF Macks are still in daily use in various South American countries with forty or more years of service behind them.
