Couldn't agree more Ryan. Tell me Pete, what's the story on the chrome lamp sticking up between the blue strobes? Is it a spot light or some sort of warning device, , , , I'd be happy to be a retained firie running around in this rig, (just wish they wouldn't keep dumping all their rubbish on the dash though, , )

Pavel, the lamp sticking up between the blues, in fact is actually quite a powerful searchlight.Behind the front windscreen(the rubbish)is a spot light,
handy at night, the other rubbish is maps, etc.Also, in red & white on the dash
is a standard part of equipment now with many brigades over here in the UK, a
lovely fluffy toy doll'HA HA'.Yea thats right.These are often handed out to
children following some sort of trauma.Questions answered I hope.Pete M.

Do all of the Rapiers in WS fitted with two tones air?

I will get back to you on this question, but yes the Rapier did have air operated
two-tone horns.The later Sabre, and Dagger appliances could also have been air
operated but due to so much computerisation these days, they maybe would have been electrically operated?????.TIMES ARE CHANGING.The brigade is now turning
to Scania appliances, these have sirens/worblers/two-tones, etc, etc.I would think
these are electronic operated.

All the rapiers in West Sussex have two tone air horns. The Daggers, Sabres and Scanias are all fitted with Wail, Yelp and Hi-Lo electronic sirens, (heres the sad bit, the siren make and models are Whelen Alpha sirens). The officers cars and other service vehicles are also fitted with the same.

Two Tones on the 2 Daggers & the 02 (Storringtons) Sabre are Air Operated Pete. I must admit going from Wail or Yelp to Two Tones does sound rather good.
