hi pete just to let you know this appliance is soon to be replaced in early 2009 by a new scania 4x2 p270 truck with john dennis bodywork which is in build as you read this again it will have hiab crane on the back there are placing all 3 hrts( heavy rescue tenders ) with the newer p -reg one from crawley being kept as a reserve as they dont have a reserve hrt and have to use a transit van when one goes off the run will keep you up dated calvin

Calvin, thanks for that information, I was aware middle of 2008 they were being
replaced in 2009 but the delay was the brigade was unsure at that time who
they wanted to build the bodywork.I'm glad to see thats been sorted out now
and JDC have got the contract.....Pete.
