Rather unusual idea to have two of these at the same fire station. Usually they are distributed individually, so as to both speed up response and avoid too much staffing dilution.

Only one main fire station manned 24h in Basel. Sub-stations are volunteers and civil defence

That explains it! It is pretty unusual for these to be operated by volunteers because their call load is very rarely high enough to justify operating a KAW or KLF. I remember one German city with ten all- volunteer fire stations had one KLF, but I think it is rare in outfits with no paid staff.
