I have tried to identify the relationship between Riffauld, Desautel and Gimaex among French fire truck builders but it is not clear if they are all the same firm, or separate companies which collaborate some of the time?

Desautel Group is the main company regrouping (Riffaud-Giamex-Gallin-Desautel and more companies related to fire safety, prevention, etc..) “Desautel” brand itself stopped manufacturing trucks and concentrating mainly fire extinguishers nowadays.
You can find collaborations between Riffaud-Giamex or Gallin-Giamex) Besides this big group, there is still in France Sides and Camiva-Magirus
