There are a few of these on this site. I always associated Merryweather in their prewar days with Albion chassis, but it seems the Morris Commercial was an option, presumably because it was less costly. Does anyone know the numbers of their builds on the two different chassis?

Reading Simon's notes again it was new to the mines rescue and then joined the Leicester City Brigade. Snibston museum closed in 2015 so object should be with Leicester County Mus Service?
