Commer pump Gloster WFB EDG464

A unique 1942 appliance taken at Battersea. I do not know the bodybuilder. It still seems to be around and in an auction 2023:

Moreton Valance (written on the side of the truck) was an RAF station used to test the Gloster Meteor.

I believe this was a Merryweather appliance, used by Glosters at Brockworth and Moreton Valance and later in use at Staverton Airport.I have the name HEALEY as the bodybuilder but no more information about that.

Originally a Braidwood appliance, rebuilt post war by
Healys of Gloucester.
It carried 200 gallons of water and 6x50lb Co2 cylinders

allegedly seen abroad - to quote
