Happy new year from petros, volunteer moderator. It has been a good year on the site with lots of new photos and expert comments.

I'd like to second Rob's comment. Thank you for the time you spend keeping this resource/reference/archive alive! The choice of photo is topical for members of the Fire Service Preservation Group as there is an article about how the current owners of 240FLM acquired the vehicle, in their latest newsletter.

Happy New Year to all of you and especially Petros for putting so much into this group. I've been a little out of touch over recent years with other commitments, one being writing a book on the history of my old brigade which has now after many years of research finally been published. Modelling as also been a very involved hobby for me over the last few years and still is, one thing I miss is the modelling group on this site which for some unknown reason disappeared some years ago so was also unable to submit anything. I will endeavour to start adding a few bits to the group now as time allows.
