I can't say whether this machine exists in 2023 or not but I can move the story on from the date of this photo.
It was seen at Porthcawl Fire Station during a Fire Brigade Society visit on 25th July 1999 and was said to be 'superbly restored'. Preserved by South Wales Fire Service in the livery of Glamorgan Fire Service and it looks like that is how it is presented in Geoff Pritchard's photo above. HCJ 839 attended events in the 1990s and I have references to it being at Chepstow fire engine rally in 1997 and a balloon fiesta in Cardiff in 1995. Its appearance at the latter was captured in a 'Horns and Strobes' video!
The DVLA website shows it as SORN with a new logbook being issued in 2012.
A final point of interest is that it doesn't appear on the Dennis Society's list of preserved appliances. Hopefully information will come to light which will lead to it being included in the near future.

Is that a siren on the near side near the blue beacon? Odd appearance.
