picture 42436 includes another French Ford of similar design and vintage, and mentions the brief postwar history of French postwar Ford truck production. These F series were also built in Germany as well as the US - and continued in production into the1960s.

While not very common in fire service fleets in either France or Germany, they were very popular in the Netherlands, quite common in Belgium and frequently to be found in Denmark, Norway and Finland during the 50s and 60s.
