A design originally introduced by Saviem before it merged into Renault. Widely used for light first aid pumpers all over France. These usually had a 1000 LPM pump, a 600 liter tank and carried a crew of five. This example has been “updated” by Renault, by the addition of a big black rubber grille, similar to efforts by Dodge and Ford in the UK - in my humble opinion achieving only a rather ugly and uninspiring result….
