Three years after the F7 was introduced fire brigades were still buying this open cab normal control design - with nowhere to store BA and a single pair of lockers!

Could they not have waited for an F7 or F12? I know they were oversold in those early years, but there were oodles of smaller firms building enclosed fire appliances at the time on Bedford and Commer chassis, both of which were decent enough...
