These 2000 LPM rescue pumps have an eight person crew cab. The standard base structure fire response is two rescue pumps, a 30 meter ladder, a command van and a fire service ambulance, responding from either one or two contiguous fire stations with a total of 18 crew members. Fire service ambulance crew members are also fully qualified fire fighters.

The city has ten large full time and 22 additional volunteer fire company stations, protecting a population of around 1.5 million. There are 2100 full timers and around 1050 volunteers on the force.
