Not an ambulance, this one is crewed by EMS crew, usually voluntairs, rather than paramedics or EMT's. It's a unit that gets to the patient before the ambulance to provide critical first aid. They are trained to use defibrillator and oxygen, but they may not put IV or medicate. They usually don't transport patients. Common in smaller town or villages where there is no ambulance close.
