Tanker 29 -- Townsend Fire Company, DE (USA)Pumper/Tanker 29 is a "4-Guys" conversion of an older model Mack MC series chassis. In addition to the driver and officer, the restored cab holds an additional 6 firefighters. The rig operates with a 1500 gpm Hale pump, carries 2500 gallons of water, ground ladders and 2inch attack hose. The black bunting on the grille commemorates the 6th anniversary of the 9/11 disaster. "4 Guys Fire Trucks", of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, US of A. Started in 1974, with (you guessed it) four[4] local chaps repairing Milk Tanker Trucks. Branched into building Fire Tankers, then Pumpers and Rescue Trucks.
DE is State of Delaware, Atlantic coast of USA - not too far from Washington, DC - the capital.
Now, I don't know the name for this style of tall Crew Compartment - ample room and height, for the riding crew to stuggle into all their kit, within.
Perhaps, some one can advise ?
