Excellent picture. As of November 2008 there are alot changes in the pfd.the mayor wants to close down at least 6 to 10 engine and ladder companies!! this is a real disgrace to the city of philadelphia.a ladder co. Member said (i can put my ladder up to your window and see you, but won't have any water to put the fire out).

The Philadelphia Fire Department implemented a new program called "rolling closures". This means that one fire house is closed for the day. If that house gets a call, the neighboring house responds.

As usual, Nice shot LOU!
I go past 29's house alot on the way home.
Thia past August they had a 4' x 8' sign that read "Were closed ! The next firehouse is over 2 miles away so you will have to wait."
Brian all I can say is Thank you. Mayor Nutter & The City officals of Phila For NOT keeping us SAFE.
