The Philadelphia Fire Department has no allegiance to a single apparatus manufacturer. Engine 29 is an American LaFrance "Eagle" with 1500 gpm pump, 500 gallons of water, 5 inch supply line and 1.5 inch and 2.5 inch attack lines. Other pumper manufacturers include KME/Kovatch and E-One.
