Engine 703 is a 4-Door International 4x4 on which is mounted a aluminum extruded body. Onboard are a 1000 GPM Hale Q Pak Pump, 500 Poly Water Tank, 2001 Foam Pro proportioner, a 20 gallon foam tank, strobe lighting package, two 12 volt scene lights and a 150 foot 1" booster reel mounted under the cab.
This type of fire engine is often refrated as a "Patrol" and is classified as a Type 3 apparatus. In contrast, conventional structural pumpers are certified as Class 1 apparatus by the NFPA.
