This looks just like the 1938 Morris Magirus 27 meter mechanical turntable ladder EHN 118, which was operated by Darlington Fire Brigade from 1939 to 1960. But I do not think this can be the same vehicle, because EHN 118 was retired to a private sign company and eventually ended up in Scotland.

This is obviously BYV 322 ex London Fire Brigade ex Kensington...OOS 1967 and sold to Inichcore works in the Republic of Ireland...its now in the care of the National Transport Museum in Howth near Dublin

Thanks Rick. Actually, it was not quite that obvious to a lad from Darlington now living in Chicago! I believe these Dennis-Morris-Magirus ladders were quite rare. Do you know how many were delivered in the UK?
