Fire Engines Photos

Reliance Hose is a volunteer fire company on Long Island. They operated several Macks, which were very popular at the time in both FDNY and many surrounding departments. In common with many other Long Island volunteer fire companies, these units had a quiet life with only a few fire incidents - and many of them served for 30 years or longer. Good to see this one had a productive "second life" in Argentina!

This was our truck at Reliance Hose Co # in Rockville Centre NY. I was looking for it for awhile to purchase and restore. Would really like to know if it's still in Argentina and if there is a contact number and person I can talk to.This truck worked a lot of working fires in our village.
