Tell you what this is still a mean looking piece of equipment , it would still do a job , in this country we sell off our appliances too quick , the Irish and New Zealanders cant get enough Sabres and Rapiers , refurbished and another 15 years of life and these Dennises still look smart

Marcel, sadly back in those days, I wasn't in the habit of noting dates, but looking at other pictures taken at Crowborough on the same day there was several other machines in the yard. These were a D series Dennis EPM85K, the newish Bedford CSV BUF995T and the ERF water carrier MNA218L. I would guess early 1980's

"B" Registration marks were first used on 1st August 1984 so this reduces the time frame for this photo.
