BMPM operates a fleet of 43 Unimog brush trucks, as well as conventional structural firefighting and rescue units, along with their fleet of ambulances.

This is one of the smaller ones. Other 4X4 Mogs have water tanks up to 4, 000 liters and the 6X6 versions carry 7, 000. They are backed up by three Actros 12, 000 liter 6X6 tankers.

The newer units are all equipped with class A foam or CAF systems, like this example.
