Mack RM/Darley

Engine 190 of the Mortlake Fire Company of Brooklyn, CT is a 1986 Mack RM/Darley pumper/hose tender with a 1500 GPM pump, a 700 GWT and carries 5000 feet of LDH. It is very unusual to see the RM chassis used on fire apparatus.

Not a very pretty truck, but this Mack does pack a remarkable combination of functionality into a single unit.

Four wheel drive, major pump, large tank and an impressive water relaying capability - a well thought-out specification for a volunteer fire company with a serious rural structural fire risk profile.
