A very unusual design - looks like it could accommodate a very large crew! The hose cart eliminated any need for extensive lockers, so most of the bodywork could be dedicated to crew space.

Rob, I think the hose reels is a great way to carry hose and save locker space.I wonder why the U.K. has not taken them more serious.

So do I Les. I have researched this quite deeply and this regional coal mining fire department is the only UK fire serbice which I have been able to find, which ever used them.
