I'm guessing the yellow tape outlining the vehicle is reflective. Outlining the vehicle is good thing to be doing, otherwise you can see tape reflecting but can't always tell what you are looking at. Fast foward to modern times, London fire brigade don't outline the vehicle with reflective tape
