Looks like a 1960s vintage German LF8. Used extensively by small-town volunteer fire services, these were based on a standard 4.0 ton Mercedes, Hanomag or Opel panel van.

There was a front-mounted 800 LPM low-pressure pump, a nine-person crew cab, and it carried a basic load of equipment, hoses and ground ladders, but no water tank.

Because many of them attended very few runs, large numbers of LF8s were kept in front-line service for 30 or even 40 years.

Rob, you quite right. It was a LF 8ts. So also carried a portable pump. Dated from 1965 and in Holland since 2004. It was registered as MON-240 (Monschau Kreis= region) which later was absorbed in the Aachen Kreis
