Hi Tom, what kind of problems are there with these vehicles ??

Hi Mars, they have been continuously failing their tilt tests which means they cannot come into service. One of them was also written off when it overturned into a ditch on a driver training session.

Why don't they built the WrC on the Volvo FM or Atego chassis. I think it was overturned because the weight of the tank is heavier than the chassis.

The DAF chassis is perfect, but the design is the problem. All drivers of DAF engine's are pleased with their performance, but a poor design means .....

The DAF chassis is not perfect. There are/were problems with the self leveling suspension and that is why it failed the tilt tests. Why was the design poor fred?

does these vehicles have the ZF manual gearbox or the automatic AS Tronic 'box?

They have the auto AS tronic gearbox

Has anyone got any news on the location of these appliances? I presume they are on the run by now so do you know where they are serving?

All out of service now with lfb Durham and Darlington have taken 1 and is in service.
