Disaster Response Vehicle, Istanbul

One of the more interesting apparatus at the station I visited is this Disaster Response Vehicle. Built in 2007 by a company called GPV and finished by Magirus , this 6x6 truck featured among other things a Gormagh Crane off the rear, a combination debris/snow plow off the front, all wheel steering to allow for crabbing travel, and independent suspension to enable level travel in the cab while traveling on up to 40 degree slopes.

Hi Terry, yeah saw that one too and at the same station they had 3 of these as pumpers and one "Strong Arm" vehicle.
Cheers, Frank

Presumably designed principally for earthquake incidents.
