The City of Cookeville is in the process of restoring their very first fire truck ever purchased. A lot of motor work going on now. Hopefully it will run soon.

Chain drive, right hand steering, rotary gear pump, booster reel - all the hallmarks of this very popular ALF series "triple", built in the 1920s.

Note the 2.5 inch hard suction inside the larger tube, to hook up to a hydrant without a "steamer" outlet. The wheels and tires may be original too, as US fire truck manufacturers offered pneumatic tires long before they were available in Europe, but of course it still did not have front brakes!
