The tank is approximately 35000 litres capacity. It also has a small transfer pump fitted or you can draft directly from the side of the tank.

No sorry I don't get the chance to work with this truck often. But you can see more photo's of all of the current fire trucks on the New South Wales Fire Brigades Web site http://www.nswfb.nsw.gov.au
once open go to the education and reseach button and click it will open up to show all of our equipment.
If I get to work with this truck I will try to take some more photo's

Sorry I forgot to add that the truck is normally stationed at the fire brigade workshop/regioal office in Western Sydney. The truck can be sent anywhere bulk water is needed and on occasions can be used to pull a low bed trailer to carry fire trucks around or back for repair.

Are they not only used for bushfire fighting when there are no other water resources availiable? Every station should have either a hydrant or a perminant standpipe and that is where training takes place.
