American LaFrance Tender Brisbane AustraliaOne of only 2 (maybe 3 in the QFRS) of American LaFrance pumpers on standby at the Annerley Fire Station, Brisbane Queensland. This pumper, along with its other compatriots are usually used by the Qld Fire and Rescue Service for training purposes only, having falling out of general favour by the local firies simply to its size and limited mobility compared to other pumpers in service. (I stand corrected - however this is the general consensus). I believe this unit was locally built. This particular pumper is also known as a "floater" and is used at various stations for day duty. The ID sign seen on the door is interchangeable and the local station simply inserts its own moniker.
