One of five fireboats built by Celtic Shipyards based on a Robert Allen Design. Rated at 3000 US GPM @ 150 PSI. Vancouver operates two boats, North Vancouver City and North Vancouver District Fire Departments each operate one and Burnaby shared one boat with Port Moody Firte Department

Dan, by any chance did you photograph the base from which these boats operate? I guess it's a sought after job? Any ideas how many responds they get in a year? Are the guys attached there for life, or do they get moved on when they get too comfortable? I had some incredible photos sent to me of the Bangkok Fire Boat Station and all the fire stations and engines in the City but a computer crash put that lot to bed, unfortunately, ,
