Hertfordshire fire brigade serving at berkhampstead, redbourne and watford.Then sold to murphy chemicals at wheathampstead. Later it went to obel storage at stanton, suffolk before going into preservation. This vehicle on returning from her first Call out in 1951 ( A False Alarm) the driver Fireman Jim Kempster suffered a fatal heart attack and collapsed over the wheel. The machine careered across the junction and down the embankment towards the railway lines but was stopped by a single tree before reaching the lines. Subsequently repaired and served till 1970.
