Andy, at this time John Morris were the Magirus ladder agents in the U.K. They bought chassis's from various manufacturers (but primarily Dennis) on which to fit the Magirus ladder and called them 'Morris Magirus'. Looking through the Dennis records I would guess that this is Dennis chassis number 7310 with the 60HP White and Poppe engine. It was originally destined for Capetown in 1929.
Perhaps Ian (Moore)can tell the full story of this Dennis or even post a pre-delivery photograph?

Perhaps, she also carried the 'Life Net' on wall, in back-ground; for people to escape a burning building, by jumping into it, as it is held by a circle of firemen.....
Not sure of correct terms for it..."Life Net"; "Jumping Net"; "Rescue Net" ??
