I think this TL waas based at Kingsway station In Derby.

Merryweather ladder transferred from the Derby City AEC I believe. Shelvoke B999KTV certainly ran out of Kingsway as I photographed it there back in '92

VRC 995Y did run from Kingsway, later to moving to Ilkeston where it spent a lot of the time off the run. It was replaced at Kingsway by Shelvoke B998 KTV. Sister B999 KTV was based at Glossop before they lost their TL early in the 90s, probably due to the decreasing number of mills in the area. It went to the reserve fleet and covered for B998 KTV at Kingsway.
The Derby City AEC was BCH 123B.
I had it in my head that VRC 995Y was sold on to another brigade for spares, glad it's presevred.
