This is Ex Gloucestershire,formerly at Stn 22 Tetbury.3rd of the 3 which made the first batch of Compact WrL (H737-9JDG). They had 10 ton,150 bhp Leyland Roadrunner chassis and Rosenbauer/Angloco bodies. They bought Leyland/Leyland DAF Compacts for Retained stations from 1991-99,before moving to MAN Compacts with John Dennis bodies.

What a sad story! In prewar years Leyland was the Rolls-Royce of British fire engines. Long gone!
