Fire Engines Photos

So happy to see a photo of an old friend! As a 8-year old boy in 1977, had a pic taken of myself in front of this old girl on a visit to Wxm Fire Station. Still got it....somewhere!

I had the good fortune of being shown round this by Wxm retained member(much appreciated) around same time,then watching the 2nd and 3rd (then both retained turn out to a barn fire. The standby move being Chirk in their ERF arriving on Blues&Twos ah Cranshaw(sorry Chirk!) fire station were a brigade of their own in those days!

In the old forestry looking very green. Was not there 12 months ago so must move. Its one of the few that survived the Planning Committee decision. The Commer Q4 was there still too.
