If anyone has details of its where abouts now I would love to know. Especially if its for sale !!!

Looking at the fire screen behind the cab and the extended front bumper I think it was most likely a petrol carrier.

This was a converted Petrol carrier.according to book Green Machine

It was certainly used as a Foam Carrier with Clwyd. It carried two large foam containers and 25 litre drums of Hi Ex. Also it carried Branches, inductors and Hi Ex fans etc. It also had a Tail lift to help access, but not the rollover sheet. It replaced Leyland Terrier GMA562T as a FoC, the Terrier being overweight when loaded with its kit! GMA then was used as a GP lorry. Also used was LYO788 another Bedford RL as a FoC then a GP Lorry (of Corgi model fame) LYO788 did not have a tail lift.
