Tracked down the registration now - this is ULF 743M - see picture 6399.

The dodge was built by hcb angus and carried the same amount of crew and equipment as the dennis again there was only one in service with the corps
it was fitted with 2 generators the same as the dennis and had a 5 speed manual gearbox and a 5.6 litre diesel engine it was sold at a auction in north essex to a private owner.

Does anyone know if there are any salvage organisations left, i have attempted to find out if Bombay or Mumbai salvage corps are still in operation but can find nothing whatsoever, i came across a young Indian photographer who had been taking pictures of the Cotton Green area and on one of his pictures was part of a derelict building which he stated was part of the old salvage corps station, have they gone the same way as all the other salvage organisations.
