The Army Garrison Fire Service at Bordon in Hampshire did have one of these,it was registered-67 HF 99.Photograph of mine on this site ( picture 8370) shows the appliances in front of the Bordon Fire Station in the early 1980's.

Carmichael built several different custom cab units on Bedford chassis, and some of them were very well designed. But this example will not win any beauty contests! It makes me wonder why they kept changing their cabs so often, instead of sticking to one design?
