The RB44 was developed from the Ford A series chassis into a 4x4 used for RIVs and RTs.See also picture 3267 and #3313. Humberside painted their rescue tenders white at this period - see picture 5772. Photographed at FireSafe exhibition 1981 Southampton Docks.
