Chris,on the left of picture is(SXT107)a 1957 Thornycroft/Sun foam tender that originally served at Gatwick, then for some years also at Duxford. This appliance was returned to Gatwick some years ago-its old home and is now in preservation.See(picture 6641)a photograph with information I sent in to this site sometime ago. The other appliance to the right of picture is a 1966 Bedford/HCB(reg-GFL990D)and was classed as a Water/Emergency Tender and was operational at that time and used by the Duxford Airport Fire Service.I'm sure this went into preservation and there is a picture of it somewhere on this site.I thought I read somewhere its now owned by the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade in their collection of preserved appliance,I could be wrong though?.

Found it.Take a look at Ian Moore's photo (picture 15878) which also has some added information on this 1966 Bedford(GFL990D)Water/Emergency Tender.
