Commercar Fire Engine by Henry Simonis & Co LondonPhoto 2 with kind permission of Station Officer Charles Easter (Rtr) Western Australia Fire Brigades. This incredible example of early British Fire Engineering is currently stored by its private owner in Perth. The vehicle is fully operational and although not depicted in the two photos, still has the original extension ladder, foot bell, rear mounted pump and other equipment. On Photo 1 the fireman figurine atop the radiator cap is not original but a later addition by the owner. The vehicle still has the original electric lamps but the reflectors have been polished back to the brass. It is a Z-style chassis, chain drive with petrol engine. I would love our forum to supply more information about this beautiful piece of equipment.

I have tried Searching with Keywords; and adjacent Picture No's, but no joy.
Would also love to hear from the Commer folk on this one....
